Ingrow to Keighley Vintage Shuttle Trains

Travel back in time and experience the simple pleasures of a bygone age, when steam engines had tall chimneys, footplates that were open to the elements and brasswork that gleamed in the sunshine. Railway carriages were built of wood and had seats padded with horse hair, and leather straps to open the windows. No Summer Sunday afternoon was complete without a visit to the park to hear the brass band playing on the bandstand.
Trains will be hauled by the former Taff Vale Railway locomotive No. 85 which dates back to 1899. The beautifully restored vintage carriages are owned by our friends at the Museum of Rail Travel and the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Trust. These historic vehicles make only occasional forays from the museum for private charters and special dining trains so this is a chance not to be missed.
There will also be a chance to book a place in one of our classic 1930s Pullman carriages, where Cream Teas will be available to passengers.
Keighley to Ingrow Vintage Trains
An additional Vintage Train shuttle service will operate between Keighley and Ingrow using steam locomotives Nunlow and Sir Berkeley. these services will operate at the following times:
Ingrow to Keighley at 11.30, 13.00, 14.30, 16.00 Keighley to Ingrow at 12.15, 13.45, 15.15, 16.45
Cream Teas in the Pullman Car
Cream Teas will be available on board our 1930s Pullman Cars, departing Oxenhope at 11.45, 13.15, 14.45 and 16.15 for one round trip of the line lasting approximately 75 minutes. Places on the car may be PRE-BOOKED by ringing 01535 645214 during normal midweek office hours. A supplement of £10 per person is payable covering travel in the Pullman Car and the cost of your Cream Tea. Passengers must also be in possession of a valid travel ticket for the day which may be purchased in advance if so desired.
