Santa Specials 2013
Our popular steam-hauled Santa Specials will be running again this year. During the journey Santa visits every child and the grown-ups get a mince pie and a sherry.
Join the Santa Special at Oxenhope, Haworth or Keighley Stations for a ten-mile return journey on our steam train, lasting around an hour. Experience nostalgia and the magic of Christmas in our specially decorated coaches, with festive music to get you into the mood. Santa and his pixies visit each child during the journey, delivering presents and the grown-ups are served with a mince pie and seasonal drink: the perfect way for you and your family to start the Christmas season.
All our Santa Specials have a buffet car serving real-ale, hot and cold drinks and a variety of snacks, with entertainers on board to make sure you get the most out of your day. Your ticket also allows you free travel on our connecting diesel services.
When do they run?
Dates and times for this year's Santa Special trains will be announced shortly.
To help make the Christmas season magical for the children, Santa Special trains will also be running on Christmas Eve: the perfect opportunity to see Santa before he rushes off on his busiest night of the year. You may book to travel from Keighley, Haworth or Oxenhope stations. Whichever station you choose, your Santa Special train will take you on a return journey over the whole railway.
Tickets are very popular and strictly limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Terms & Conditions
Refunds are not normally given and cancellations or alterations may be subject to a 10% administrative charge. All KWVR trains including the Santa Special trains are nonsmoking. Seats are not allocated for children aged under 36 months. There is no charge for babies up to 6 months of age. Concessionary fares are not available. Members’ free tickets, complimentary tickets and residents’ Railcards cannot be used on Santa Special services. Whilst every effort will be made to run the services advertised, the Company reserves the right to alter train services without notice.
