Victorian Cream Teas with the Old Gentleman

CREAM TEAS will be served on board the famous OLD GENTLEMAN'S SALOON on Sundays 24th June, 8th, 15th & 29th July, departing OXENHOPE at 11.45, 13.15, 14.45and 16.15.

This fabulous saloon is the oldest operational standard gauge passenger coach in the world and seats just 14 people. Formerly the private saloon for the exclusive uses of railway bosses, it is the height of elegance and rarely ventures out of our museum.

You will be welcomed on board by our very own 'Old Gentleman' who will tell you all about the coach and its famous role in the film. During the course of your journey, our butler will serve cream teas as your train steams through the beautiful Bronte countryside.

Copies of our best selling book 'The Making of The Railway Children' will be available to purchase and the author will be on hand to answer any questions yiou may have about the film

A £15 supplement is payable covering admission to the saloon for one round trip and the cost of refreshments. You must also hold a valid travel ticket. Travel tickets purchased in advance will autiomatically be upgraded to Day Rovers, allowing you unlimited travel on services throughout the day.
