Guided Tours & Cream Teas on board the famous Old Gentleman's Saloon

The famous Victorian North Eastern Railway Saloon which starred in the film 'The Railway Children' will be in service this Summer offering exclusive guided tours of filming locations and complementary Cream Teas. You will be welcomed on board by our own frock-coated 'Old Gentleman' who will provide an entertaining and elightening guide to the film while our Butler will be on hand to serve complementary cream teas.

Tours will operate on Sundays 24th June, 8th, 15th & 29th July, departing OXENHOPE at 11.45, 13.15, 14.45 or 16.15. A £15 supplement is payable covering admission to the saloon and the cost of refreshments, and you must hold a valid travel ticket. The saloon is the oldest operational standard gauge passenger coach in the world and seats just 14 people.
