Every weekend and on selected weekdays a buffet car is conveyed on steam train services.

The buffet car serves not only tea, coffee and a wide selection of soft drinks & sandwiches - but also real ale.

But how does a traditional barrel of beer with sediment remain drinkable on a moving train? The beer is drawn from the cask before the journey into a specially made drum which is taken on the train ensuring a perfect pint throughout the day!
