Guided Tours of the Railway

Our “Smell the Smoke; See the Stays“ tours of our engine sheds and workshops at Haworth have been arranged on the dates listed below throughout 2012. These fascinating tours will commence from the Booking Office at Haworth station and will last for approximately 45 minutes.

You will see engines under restoration, the working fleet, historic buildings, and much more besides.

 

Please be aware that because this is a hazardous working environment, the tour may be curtailed or cancelled without notice.

The tour involves walking on uneven and slippery surfaces, and includes steps. For this reason, it is not suitable for children and those with mobility problems.Access to the sheds is only permitted for authorised groups who must remain together at all times.

 

Tours start each day at 14.00 and 15.00 ( Saturdays & Sundays), Or 14.30 on midweek dates.
