Diesel Gala 25th to 27th May 2012

Despite the failure of 50026 on Friday and again on Saturday morning, sterling work was put in by the loco's owners group and the loco made an appearance for 2 round trips on Saturday late afternoon and worked it's booked diagram on Sunday. A most enjoyable weekend was had by staff and passengers alike, with many positive comments recieved. 37075 works its first train at the KWVR

37075 is now available for service, and entered traffic with a special train on the evening of Saturday 5th May 2012 for KWVR Volunteers and Guests. A good time was had by all, and the loco is seen here after arrival at Oxenhope. This was the first time the loco had operated a train on its own on the KWVR.
